The Alligator is a 3 dimensional jigsaw puzzle designed and made
by Peter Chapman. The single piece of leopard wood is cut into 15 pieces. The mouth opens
and closes. There’s a clock inside the Alligator.
The fine workmanship and great finish make this puzzle a work of art.
If you take it apart you have a choice to make: should you arrange the pieces
carefully in order or mix them up? If you keep the pieces in order and top side up
reassembly will not be difficult. If you mix the pieces up then, as a puzzle the Alligator
is rated as moderate.
